Install Security Director

0:06 In this video, we’ll show you the steps to install Security Director, the network

0:11 security policy management application.

0:14 Log in to Junos Space Network Management Platform.

0:19 On the menu on the left side, go to Administration, and then Applications.

0:29 Note the Junos Space Network Management Platform version.

0:32 We’ll need to match that version number in the next step.

0:37 Go to the software download page and search for Security Director.

0:46 Select the same version we previously noted and save the release image to your local system.

0:55 Go back to the Applications page and click the + icon to add the Security Director app.

1:04 You can upload the app using the HTTP or SCP options.

1:07 We’ll choose the HTTP option.

1:14 Navigate to the image we previously retrieved and click Upload.

1:23 After the file uploads, the app appears on the list as a confirmation.

1:27 Select the app and click Install.

1:38 After the installation finishes, the app is added to the list.

1:42 You can choose a server group for the app deployment.

1:46 This demo does not have any associated server groups, so we’ll leave it as the default

1:51 platform, to which Junos Space Platform is deployed.

1:55 At the top of the menu on the left, we can now switch over to Security Director and begin
